Clackamas Middle College is a public charter〔http://www.clackamasmiddlecollege.org/Application.pdf〕 school in Happy Valley, Oregon, United States.
==Academics==
Clackamas Middle College (CMC) is a four-year high school college transition program enrolling 300 students in grades 9-12. It is accredited by AdvancED. CMC is designed to give students the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously with the goal of earning a high school diploma, a transfer degree, or certificate of completion.
CMC students are diverse. Students enrolling in Clackamas Middle College are interested in success beyond high school. There is a personal interest in college or career-related programs while completing high school graduation requirements. Students know that when they leave CMC, they will be prepared for post-secondary success. This is evident as all graduates leave with college transcripts, college credits and college transfer degrees or college certificates.
In 2008, 21% of the school's seniors received their high school diploma as they remained enrolled to pursue a college degree or certificate. Of 121 students, 26 graduated with a high school diploma and college degree/certificate, 22 dropped out, and 73 are still in high school to continue their pursuit of a higher degree.
The Thomas B. Fordham Institute describes the school as a "public private school", meaning it is a public school that serves "virtually no poor students", with 1.81% of students being low-income, and 84% of students white.
